POSITION SUMMARY
The Home Financing Transaction Coordinator serves as the central point of coordination between prospective Homebuyers, sales teams, lenders, title companies, closing agents, and internal Parakeet personnel. This role will ensure each financed home purchase moves efficiently from application and contract through closing and post-closing completion. The ideal candidate is proactive, exceptionally organized, comfortable multi-tasking and prioritization, and has the ability to identify and resolve any issues that might potentially impact a closing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Financing Workflow for Home Sales from Contract to Closing
Track Financial Status, Required Documentation, and pending Closing Deadlines.
Coordinate with Buyer to obtain documentation requested by the Lender.
Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure organization of relevant documentation and correspondence.
Monitor Financing Timelines and address any instance of delay.
Maintain an organized and current pipeline of all active financed home transactions.
Serve as primary point of contact for lending and finance partners.
Follow up on Lender requirements.
Escalate Financing issues that could potentially jeopardize closing.
Develop strong working relationships with Parakeet’s preferred financing partners.
Coordinate with Sales Team/ Sales Organization.
Communicate Closing date changes or financial status promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 years of experience in Mortgage processing, Loan coordination, real estate transactions including but not limited to title/ settlement or residential sales.
Established Networking and Relationship-buildings capabilities.
Strong communication, follow-up, and closing skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/ Rent Manager a plus!
Highly organized with ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to use Discretion and maintain confidentiality when handing sensitive information.
