Reports to the Cybersecurity & IT Manager
Innovative. Transparent. Simple.
CEHAS runs on protected health and payroll data, and a fully remote team across the U.S. depends every day on the systems you would administer. Today our IT support runs through our Cybersecurity & IT Manager and an external Managed Service Provider — this is the first dedicated internal IT seat, and it is the one people will come to first. You will own provisioning and access from a new hire’s first morning through a departure the same afternoon, keep our hardware and cloud tools accounted for, and hold the line on the SOC 2 and HIPAA controls that let us do this work at all. If you like building the process rather than inheriting it, this is that seat.
What you’ll own- Run the systems people work in. Administer our internal systems and cloud tools — Google Workspace first among them — and partner with each department to deploy what their workflow actually needs.
- Own provisioning and access. Execute user provisioning, role-based access, and strict decommissioning for every onboarding and offboarding event. No account stays open past someone’s last day.
- Keep the hardware honest. Manage the full device lifecycle and maintain accurate tracking of every company asset.
- Be the first call. Serve as the primary internal escalation point when something breaks, and coordinate with our MSP so incidents, requests, and outages actually get closed.
- Hold the security line. Enforce the security policies and access controls that keep us SOC 2 and HIPAA compliant, and run the cybersecurity training and awareness campaigns that keep the team sharp.
- Write it down, then automate it. Develop, maintain, and publish internal SOPs and user guides — and find the manual IT work that should not be manual anymore.
- You’ve supported a remote workforce. 2–5 years in IT support, including time spent supporting people you never see in person.
- You know access control. User provisioning, RBAC, and hardware inventory are familiar ground, not something you would be learning here.
- You run a queue well. Comfortable in a ticketing system — Jira preferred — and you close what you open without being chased.
- You take security seriously. Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security, and the judgment to notice when something is off.
- You document. You leave behind SOPs someone else can actually follow.
- You keep learning. IT and security keep moving; so do you.
Google Workspace administration • Salesforce administration • Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms • SOC 2 audit experience • HIPAA enforcement • scripting or automation. If the required list is you and this one isn’t — apply anyway.
