About Nuage Designs
For over two decades, Nuage Designs has set the standard for couture linens and luxury event rentals — trusted by the world’s top event planners, Fortune 500 companies, and luxury hotels to make moments extraordinary.
Founded in Miami’s Wynwood district in 2004, we’ve grown into a team of over 140 across Miami, New York, and Chicago — and we’re just getting started. Now entering our most ambitious chapter yet, we’re doubling down on people who care deeply about quality, design, and the art of the unforgettable.
That growth is guided by how we work, not just what we make. We care deeply about our people, our partners, and our craft, and we elevate every experience by going beyond expectations at every touchpoint. We own the outcome, leading with integrity and holding ourselves accountable for the results we deliver — our products may be rented, but the results we deliver are ours. We win as one, building trusted partnerships and shared success through open collaboration, and we grow forward by staying curious, creative, and always learning.
We’re looking for exceptional people who are energized by growth, inspired by craft, and ready to help shape a company at an inflection point. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

The Opportunity
The Operations Purchasing Manager owns end-to-end procurement — sourcing materials, supplies, and equipment cost-effectively and on time, managing vendor relationships and contracts, and partnering with operations, warehouse, and finance to control costs.
This is a ground-floor role: Nuage has no formal opex/indirect purchasing process today. This person will build it from scratch — requisition workflows, approval thresholds, vendor standards, and reporting.

Process Build & Governance
Design and implement Nuage's first formal indirect/opex purchasing process, including requisition and approval workflows
Establish purchasing policies, spend thresholds, and vendor onboarding standards
Drive cross-functional adoption of new processes with Finance, Operations, and department heads
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement best practices, and relevant regulations
Vendor & Contract Management
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
Manage vendor relationships, including performance reviews, contract renewals, and issue resolution
Vet and onboard new suppliers, negotiating initial contract terms
Maintain accurate records of contracts, pricing agreements, and vendor certifications (e.g., insurance, COIs)
Purchasing Operations
Develop purchasing strategies aligned with production schedules and operational needs
Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation for approvals, receiving, and invoicing
Monitor inventory levels with warehouse/production teams to prevent stockouts or overstock
Support cross-location coordination between Miami and Chicago on shared vendor accounts and logistics
Cost & Spend Optimization
Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
Partner with Finance/Accounting on budget tracking, vendor payment terms, and cost reconciliation
Identify opportunities to consolidate spend, streamline vendor lists, and improve workflows
