Job Summary:

The Electrical Hardware Engineer supports AI Server/Rack system-level electrical integration, diagnostic triage, validation, and test engineering. This role is critical to L10/L11 operations by maximizing factory yield, reducing cycle time, resolving system-level electrical issues, and serving as a technical bridge between manufacturing and R&D design teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform signal integrity and high-speed cable/interconnect validation for AI server and rack systems. Troubleshoot physical-layer issues and verify signal performance, connectivity, and system-level electrical requirements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware failures encountered during L10/L11 integration and production testing. Perform root-cause analysis and work with R&D and manufacturing teams to implement timely corrective actions.
  • Support server and rack system bring-up, including high-speed interconnect interoperability and physical-layer link validation. Identify integration issues and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure successful system operation.
  • Verify Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and confirm hardware changes are correctly implemented on production systems. Audit rework activities to ensure compliance with approved engineering specifications and quality requirements.
  • Operate and maintain high-frequency laboratory and production test equipment used for electrical validation and diagnostics. Ensure test equipment is properly configured, available, and used according to established procedures and safety requirements.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience with high-speed signal integrity, cabling, interconnect validation, and high-speed bus architectures. Strong understanding of SI principles and physical-layer link validation is required.
  • 2–4 years of experience using advanced electrical laboratory and production test equipment, with the ability to perform high-frequency diagnostics, measurements, and hardware validation.
  • 2–4 years of experience troubleshooting complex hardware failures and conducting root-cause failure analysis. Ability to interpret test results and work systematically toward corrective actions.
  • 1+ year of experience with enterprise server, AI server/rack, system bring-up, L10/L11 integration, or similar hardware integration environments. Experience supporting factory-floor diagnostics and production validation is highly preferred.
  • trong ability to bridge R&D design requirements with manufacturing execution, communicate technical issues effectively, and follow electrical safety frameworks and established engineering procedures.
