Job Description

Summary, Role: Take orders and make the drinks for the patrons and servers. Ring in drinks properly, keep bar stocked and clean balance drawer.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Make and serve drinks to patrons or cocktail servers timely
  • Collects payment
  • Ring in drinks made properly on POS system
  • Balance drawer
  • Keep bar and mixing area clean
  • Verify age by requiring identification
  • Customer service focus; checking on guests, not overserving intoxicated guests

Requirements (KSA’s) Previous bartending experience (at least one year), ability to work in fast-paced environment, familiar with point-of-sale systems,

Calm demeanor, ability to recognize when a person has reached their limit

Education, certificates: Alcohol Serving card required in some jurisdictions

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and move cases of beer and keg,

  • Standing up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Walking up to 8 hours a day.
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, stretching and kneeling
  • Must be able to be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, loud noise, dust, cigarette/cigar smoke
  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands

Pay Range: Minimum wage plus tips
