This role offers the opportunity to shape a high-impact mobile experience used by millions of patients navigating their care journeys. You will design intuitive, polished, and trustworthy mobile-first experiences that support key moments such as ordering, subscriptions, refills, and account management. Sitting at the intersection of healthcare and commerce, your work will directly influence how patients engage with treatment plans and stay connected to their care. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring ideas from concept to launch in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. This position requires a strong balance of craft, systems thinking, and product intuition to elevate both usability and emotional trust. You will also play a key role in improving mobile adoption and ensuring a seamless experience across iOS and Android platforms.
- Define and design end-to-end mobile experiences across iOS and Android, with occasional contributions to web-based patient journeys, ensuring consistency, clarity, and usability across platforms.
- Lead the design of commerce-related flows including ordering, subscriptions, refills, and account management, ensuring experiences are seamless, intuitive, and reliable.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering from discovery through delivery, actively participating in implementation, QA, and post-launch quality reviews.
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes and exploratory concepts using modern design and AI tools to clearly communicate interaction patterns and product direction.
- Maintain strong ownership of design quality, including visual design, interaction details, edge cases, accessibility, and production readiness.
- Engage with users and stakeholders to ground design decisions in real patient and provider needs, translating insights into meaningful product improvements.
- Contribute to product growth efforts such as improving app store presence, onboarding experiences, and mobile engagement strategies.
- 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped, consumer-facing digital products, ideally mobile-first applications.
- Proven experience designing high-quality mobile app experiences, with exposure to commerce, subscription, or transactional product flows.
- Strong command of interaction design, visual craft, and systems thinking, with the ability to move between strategy and detailed execution.
- Experience using AI tools or modern prototyping methods to accelerate ideation, design iteration, and workflow efficiency.
- Deep understanding of mobile UX best practices, including performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-device consistency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams around design decisions.
- Ability to independently lead projects, identify opportunities, and raise product quality through proactive ownership.
- Bonus: experience in healthcare, wellness, diagnostics, or regulated consumer-facing environments.
- Competitive salary ranging from 120,000 to 150,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and location.
