Front-End Developer II - ShareGate Migrate [Web Experience]

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Front-End Developer II – ShareGate Migrate [Web Experience] in Canada.

This role sits at the heart of a greenfield initiative to build a new web application from the ground up, designed to simplify Microsoft 365 migration for IT professionals worldwide. You will join a newly formed Web Experience team focused on shaping both the technical foundations and the user experience of a modern, browser-based product. The environment is highly collaborative and experimental, with strong emphasis on autonomy, rapid iteration, and AI-assisted development. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver performant, accessible, and scalable interfaces. This is a rare opportunity to influence architecture decisions early while contributing directly to a product that will serve thousands of enterprise customers. The role combines hands-on coding, product thinking, and technical leadership in a fast-moving, innovation-driven setting.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will contribute across the full front-end development lifecycle, helping define both the product experience and the technical standards of a new web platform. You will build scalable UI components, integrate complex APIs, and shape engineering practices within a newly created team.

  • Build high-quality, performant, and accessible front-end interfaces using modern web technologies
  • Translate product and design requirements into reusable, scalable UI components and patterns
  • Contribute to architectural decisions that establish long-term front-end foundations for the web application
  • Integrate Microsoft ecosystem APIs (such as Microsoft Graph, Azure AD/Entra ID, MSAL) to enable secure and reliable workflows
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, contributing to C#/.NET development when needed to support end-to-end feature delivery
  • Define and promote front-end testing practices to ensure high-quality, reliable releases
  • Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to elevate team capabilities
  • Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development, prototyping, and solution exploration
Requirements

This role requires strong experience in modern front-end development, combined with solid full-stack awareness and the ability to thrive in a greenfield, fast-evolving environment. You bring strong technical execution skills, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.

  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping commercial web applications
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React for modern front-end development
  • Experience with relational or non-relational databases and full-stack development concepts
  • Solid backend development skills in C# / .NET (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) in daily workflows
  • Familiarity with Microsoft APIs such as Microsoft Graph, Azure AD/Entra ID, or MSAL (strong asset)
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills in complex technical environments
  • Clear communicator with strong ownership mindset and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $100,000–$130,000 CAD (adjusted based on location and experience)
  • Remote-first work environment with flexible collaboration practices
  • Opportunity to work on a greenfield product with high technical ownership
  • AI-enabled engineering culture with modern development tooling
  • Strong emphasis on learning, experimentation, and professional growth
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and high-trust team environment
  • Career development opportunities within a fast-growing product organization
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale Microsoft ecosystem technologies
