Job Summary
The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is Kentucky’s Center on Disability.

HDI is seeking to fill anAdministrative Research Assistant Pr position. This position is funded through a contract within Kentucky DBHDID Division Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DDID) and will work with the Supports Community Living (SCL) waiver program.

This Administrative Research Assistant Pr position will serve as an Administrative Specialist.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • providing administrative and program support for 1915© Home and Community Based waiver services administered by the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disability (DBHDID)
  • coordinating enrollment and documentation processes, maintaining accurate records, supporting Participant Directed Services, monitoring program deadlines, and ensuring compliance with established policies and standard operating procedures
  • providing administrative support for mortality review activities, medication administration training, and customer service related to waiver programs.

This is a remote position based from a home office and is open to candidates residing anywhere within the state of Kentucky.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft Office products, have excellent time management skills, have knowledge of the SCL and Michelle P. waivers, and be an effective communicator both in written text and orally.
