Job Description
Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to support the Controller in overseeing the daily accounting operations of our organization. This role will serve as a key member of the accounting leadership team, managing the day-to-day accounting functions while ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple subsidiaries.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate external audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
- Review and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing coaching and performance management.
- All other duties assigned by your direct supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, and MVR (if applicable).
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-subsidiary ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc. a plus

- This position will work at the corporate office.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible full-time schedule including working some evenings and weekends.
- Hours of work include, but are not limited to, the hours of operation. Current hours of operation are 7days a week, 7:30am-9pm, closing only December 25th. Typical corporate office hours are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm.
