About the Role:

The Senior Manufacturing Manager will lead and oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production processes, high-quality output, and timely delivery of products. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance to align manufacturing strategies with business objectives. They will be responsible for managing a diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance manufacturing performance, reduce costs, and support the company’s growth and competitive position in the market.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing management or operations leadership.
  • Proven experience managing large teams and complex manufacturing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage operational budgets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or equivalent process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in the specific industry sector relevant to the company’s products (e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation and IoT.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects and change management efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that improve productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage manufacturing teams to achieve operational goals and maintain high employee engagement.
  • Oversee production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Manage budgets, capital expenditures, and operational costs to align with financial targets.
  • Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on manufacturing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
