Job Description
Position Summary
The Store Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests and visitors at the dealership. This role is responsible for providing professional guest service, answering incoming calls, directing inquiries, and supporting daily administrative operations to ensure a welcoming and efficient front office environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls to appropriate departments.
- Provide basic dealership information and assist guests with general inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating guests requests as needed.
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document organization.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling of confidential information.
- Monitor customer flow and direct guests to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Assist management and office staff with clerical duties as assigned.
- Follow dealership policies, procedures, and guest service standards.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.
- On-the-job training provided for qualified candidates.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Frequent use of phone, computer, and office equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 15–20 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to perform repetitive administrative tasks such as typing and filing.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a dealership front office or reception area with frequent guest interaction, phone communication, and administrative activity in a structured, fast-paced environment.
