Position Summary
Operate manufacturing equipment and processes ensuring compliance with safety, quality, traceability, and regulations applicable to medical devices, guaranteeing operational efficiency and product conformity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manual and automated production equipment ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient flow.
  • Load machines with raw materials and components, ensuring proper identification and traceability.
  • Execute production operations strictly following work instructions (WI), SOPs, and process sheets.
  • Manage simultaneous operation of up to two machines, maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Perform in-process visual inspections and verify products meet medical industry quality requirements.
  • Ensure full traceability of all operations through accurate system records (e.g., HYDRA or others).
  • Document production and quality activities according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Identify, contain, and report non-conformances, defects, or process deviations.
  • Stop processes and escalate immediately in unsafe conditions or critical quality issues.
  • Support changeovers, machine setup, and basic adjustments.
  • Execute sampling and send parts to quality according to inspection plans.
  • Manage scrap correctly, ensuring segregation, identification, and disposal per procedures.
  • Maintain work areas under 5S and visual control standards.
  • Minimize downtime by identifying basic failures and coordinating support with maintenance or automation.
  • Meet production, efficiency, and waste reduction targets.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Rotate and support other areas such as stamping, molding, automation, singulation, electropolishing, among others.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing (preferably in medical devices or regulated environment).
  • Knowledge of:
  • Good Documentation and manufacturing practices (GDP)
  • Production processes and quality control

Skills:

  • Interpret work instructions, SOPs, and technical specifications
  • Basic computer uses and data entry
  • Visual defect identification
  • Attention to detail and compliance
  • Teamwork
  • Time and priority management
  • Adaptability and continuous learning

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Handle materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely perform repetitive tasks.



For all shifts:
1st Shift 7:00AM - 3:30PM
2nd Shift 3:00PM - 11:30PM
3rd Shift 11:00PM - 7:30PM
