Responsibilities
Business Analysts may be aligned with the Program Governance/Intake team or aligned with the Value Realization team.
Claims Program Governance and Intake
- Administer the portfolio management tool, including customization, permission management, and onboarding new users.
- Collect, analyze, and report portfolio and program data to support decision-making.
- Support governance process execution and maintain standard work documentation.
- Assist with portfolio analysis and provide data to support intake prioritization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to gather additional details on portfolio submissions.
- Communicate analysis results clearly to management via reports, presentations, and summaries.
- Exhibit advanced understanding of claims operating model.
Value Realization
- Work across the business, between project portfolio to operations, and develop high-judgement plans, which you will influence at the Director and Vice President Operations (VPO) levels.
- Generate leadership facing reporting post-planning submission, bridging changes between plans and zooming into the key drivers.
This is a hybrid position which allows you to spend some of your time working from home as well as some time working collaboratively in-office. During the job training period you may have a higher percentage of time spent in-office to support your learning experience.
Candidates may also be asked to work in-office more than 25% of the time per month. Flexibility is key for this position.
Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible work shifts and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours.
This position may require travel via commercial transportation and driving motor vehicles to any location where the company does business. Business travel is required to perform the necessary job responsibilities.

• Demonstrated success with executing recurring reporting tasks including building, automating, troubleshooting, & maintaining.

- Employees must successfully complete all required training, including applicable licensing exam(s) and background checks required of various state(s).

Our Benefits
Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
- Potential starting salary range: $80,600.00 - $123,000.00
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
