Position Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator serves as the welcoming face of the Human Resources department, offering assistance and support to employees with a professional and approachable demeanor. In addition to providing front-line support, the HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in administering various HR functions, including but not limited to benefits management, employee records maintenance, HR processes facilitation, and recruitment assistance. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion are vital. The HR Coordinator also possesses a general understanding of employee benefits, payroll procedures, and HR policies, ensuring efficient operations within the organization.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
-
Associate's degree or 4 years of office experience in lieu of Associate's degree

Minimum Experience
-
One year experience in a Customer-Facing position; Human Resource office experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn, effectively utilize, and maintain proficiency in multiple software applications, business systems, web-based platforms, and third-party vendor systems while adapting to evolving technology, software enhancements, and changing business needs.Ability to develop and apply a working knowledge of Human Resources operations, Total Rewards programs, HR technology, payroll processes, organizational policies, and applicable employment laws.

Physical Demands - Primarily sedentary work requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
- Requires occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, balancing, and stooping.
- Occasionally lifts, carries, pushes, or pulls up to 35 pounds.
- Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.
- Requires near vision and the ability to read computer screens and printed materials.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically.
