About the Role
State Fire Idaho is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to serve as the front line of our Pocatello office. This role is essential to keeping daily operations running smoothly, supporting multiple departments, and delivering a professional experience to customers and partners.We’re looking for someone who takes pride in organization, follows through without reminders, and wants to grow in a stable, fast-moving company. Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (onsite)
What You’ll Do
Front Desk & Customer Experience
- Answer incoming calls and route them efficiently
- Greet and assist walk-in customers professionally
- Serve as a reliable first point of contact for clients and vendors
Administrative Support
- Review and approve invoices for the extinguisher department
- Prepare customer documentation (COIs, W9s, and related requests)
- Support leadership with overflow and priority tasks
- Coordinate hotel reservations for out-of-town service teams
- Assist with data entry and cross-train on payment processing
Operations Support
- Maintain accurate, organized records
- Learn internal systems quickly and adapt to new tools
- Take initiative when gaps arise rather than waiting for direction
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Administrative or office experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation & Benefits
- $18-$20/hour, depending on experience
