Our Approach to Student Services ComplianceAt Rocky Mountain Prep, compliance is a lever for equity, not just adherence. We ensure every student receives services that are legally sound, academically rigorous, and grounded in inclusive practices. Our approach prioritizes proactive systems, precise documentation, and continuous monitoring to guarantee fidelity to federal, state, and district requirements across Special Education, English Language Development (ELD), and Individualized Student Supports and Accommodations (ISA). We invest in building the capacity of school teams through clear guidance, coaching, and training so that compliance translates into meaningful access to grade-level content and individualized support for every scholar. Manager of Student Services Compliance Will…- Monitor and audit IEPs, FBAs, BIPs, multilingual learner documentation, and student accommodation systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and DPS requirements
- Lead school-based systems to track IEP timelines, service delivery, multilingual learner compliance indicators, and accommodation implementation
- Oversee evaluation, re-evaluation, amendment, and compliance processes to ensure procedural fidelity
- Maintain accurate records for state reporting, including December Count and audit submissions
- Partner with school leaders and student services teams to strengthen compliance practices across Special Education, ELD, and ISA systems
- Provide training and coaching to staff on special education law, documentation, multilingual learner compliance, and best practices for inclusive supports
- Collaborate with district authorizers and external partners to ensure aligned implementation
- Identify compliance risks and proactively develop solutions to address gaps
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to network leadership on compliance systems and program integrity
- Demonstrate a willingness to pursue additional coursework and/or certification requirements related to multilingual learner programming and compliance support
All Teachers at Rocky Mountain Prep will:
Take ownership of student outcomes by setting high expectations, using data to guide instruction, and ensuring all scholars grow through strong planning, rigorous teaching, and timely re-teaching. They build inclusive, relationship-centered classrooms by implementing proactive routines, culturally responsive practices, and consistent communication with families. RMP teachers collaborate closely with colleagues and support staff, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and support daily operations to maintain a safe and organized environment. They also model RMP’s PEAK values in all interactions and remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment aligned to our evolving Concept Essence.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Knowledge of and experience with compliance systems, policies, procedures, and best practices related to Special Education, multilingual learners, and student supports
- Understanding of English Language Acquisition, inclusive instructional practices, and effective teaching practices for diverse learners and students with disabilities
- Strong ability to collaborate with school leaders, staff, and families to support compliance, equitable access to grade-level content, and positive student outcomes
Must possess the following:
- Holds a Colorado teaching license or is currently eligible for one with the appropriate endorsement for this position
- Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) endorsement from an accredited college and/or coursework demonstrating understanding of English Language Acquisition and effective teaching practices with diverse learners preferred
- Candidates without a CLDE endorsement must demonstrate willingness to pursue required coursework and/or endorsement support aligned to the role responsibilities
- Preferred: Special Education certification in Colorado or eligibility to complete the Colorado license transfer process before the first day of work
- Pass a background check
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States

Salary
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 to $95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
