SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide clinical supervision, oversight, and related administration and coordination of the Access Crises programs in the outpatient department. The supervisory position oversees the ACI counselor(s), MCR counselor(s), and ERE/YERE Case Manager(s).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides general and clinical supervision of mental health services in assigned catchment area/programs staff and is responsible for optimal programming of crises and complex care clinical services.

Develop a systematic approach to making sure Access Crises Teams are effectively meeting client needs.

Manages full functionality of supervised programs, including meeting standards for clinical excellence.

Manages teams that work with clients in active crisis who have outreached the 988 mobile crisis hotline number and are in need of in-person assessment and support.

Has applied knowledge and understanding of programs, policies and procedures, and referral resources to assist others in resolving issues within scope of authority.

Ensure all Access Crises and Complex Care programs are effectively providing crises intervention, navigation to services and as needed include follow-up.

Ensure ACI program responds to critical incidents immediately, as well as providing clinical support and follow-up. Also, ensures timely and accurate reporting of incidents in accordance with agency policy.

Report clinical performance metrics for all Access Crises and Complex Care Teams including following up to evaluate whether programs are meeting metrics.

Maintains a commitment to evidenced based practice for crises intervention and behavioral health models of care.

Responsible for staff recruitment, interviewing, and training as directed

Attends state and national meetings, conferences and trainings as a representative for the behavioral health complex care, CIT and crises intervention teams.

Any other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Behavioral Health sciences, with experience in the crisis intervention, case management, assessment and treatment of community mental health.

CERTIFICATION OR LICENSE REQUIRED:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor. Provisional licensure will be considered.
