Position Summary:
The Full Desk Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment process for Lydia Home Association and Safe Families for Children. This role supports hiring efforts by sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidates while ensuring professional and positive experience for applicants, hiring managers, and employees. The recruiter will work closely with leadership and department managers to identify staffing needs, maintain hiring timelines, and support organizational growth through effective recruiting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for all assigned positions from job posting through onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Create and post job advertisements on approved hiring platforms.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and recruiting outreach.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone screenings and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, and hiring documentation.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking and recruitment records.
- Ensure a professional, positive, and timely candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Support onboarding and new hire orientation processes as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee and candidate information.
- Represent the organization in a professional and respectful manner during all recruiting activities.
- Assist with recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach efforts.
- Support HR projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous recruiting, HR, staffing, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple positions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with leadership and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism at all times.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
