DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. This position assists and/or leads the following duties:

People Leadership

  • Supervises, mentors, and supports junior team members to ensure quality and timeliness of work.

Payroll Management & Processing:

  • Process semi-monthly payroll and ensure accurate compensation for all employees.
  • Maintain and update salary information, employee benefits (medical, dental, vision), and ancillary benefits, including the company 401(k) plan.
  • Oversee all accounting aspects of payroll processing, including pre- and post-processing, internal invoice management, and reconciliation.

Payroll Tax Compliance:

  • Assist with the setup and management of state payroll tax regulations.
  • Coordinate and follow up on correspondence with states regarding payroll tax issues, ensuring compliance and timely updates in regulatory systems.

Fee Reconciliation:

  • Maintain and update the underwriting split percentages for each Managing Director (MD) and ensure that WELLth Advisory Services (RIA) reflects any changes semi-annually.
  • Verify the accuracy of fee splits and ensure correct payouts to SRP Managing Directors, SRP Advisory Services (SRPAS), and all related parties.
  • Manage the maintenance of override logs for fees received by each MD, SRP, SRPAS, and WELLth.
  • Record SRP/SRPAS overrides in QuickBooks and ensure accurate account allocations.
  • Address and resolve payment discrepancies or errors promptly.
  • Provide internal support by fielding questions from SRP associates, investigating payment errors, and coordinating follow-ups to ensure closure.

Bank Reconciliation & Accounting:

  • Maintain and archive monthly bank statements for AMEX, Visa, and other accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements with QuickBooks to ensure accuracy.
  • Regularly review P&L statements and balance sheets for multiple locations; prepare journal entries as needed.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies within accounts, ensuring financial accuracy.
  • Monitor daily bank activity to approve incoming ACH withdrawals and checks, prevent auto-blocks and ensure transactions are legitimate.

Budgeting & Financial Planning:

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, collaborating with relevant teams.
  • Contribute to SRP Holdings Group, LLC valuations.

Bill Payment & Invoicing:

  • Manage vendor information within QuickBooks, ensuring records are up to date.
  • Verify invoices for payment accuracy and schedule payments in a timely manner.
  • Ensure invoices are correctly assigned to the appropriate accounts in QuickBooks for accurate bookkeeping.

Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance of Business Administration and/or equivalent trade-off in experience.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks with deep expertise in financial management.
  • Experience working with Recordkeepers or TPAs is a plus.
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and regions.
  • Capable of navigating complex operations and compliance issues with confidence and professionalism.
