This role is designed for a versatile creative professional who can combine video editing, graphic design, and performance marketing principles to produce impactful digital content.
You will own the creative process from concept through delivery, transforming briefs, raw footage, and brand assets into polished campaign materials.
The position blends motion, static design, and creative strategy to deliver content optimized for social media, paid advertising, and digital platforms.
You will collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and performance teams to develop assets that are tested, refined, and scaled based on results.

The Performance Creative | Designer & Video Editor will lead the creation of integrated creative assets across video and static formats, ensuring every deliverable aligns with brand standards while supporting measurable campaign performance.
- Edit short-form and long-form video content, including social videos, advertisements, and digital campaigns, from initial footage selection through final export.
- Develop engaging narratives through pacing, sequencing, visual storytelling, colour grading, sound design, music selection, and audio optimization.
- Create high-quality static creative assets including thumbnails, social graphics, banners, and paid media designs across multiple formats and platforms.
- Apply strong design principles including typography, colour, composition, and visual hierarchy to both static and motion-based content.
- Build motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, overlays, lower thirds, and simple visual effects using professional editing and animation tools.
- Maintain consistent brand identity across all creative outputs by managing visual systems, templates, reusable assets, and project files.
- Partner with performance and strategy teams to develop creative variations, test concepts, and iterate assets based on campaign insights and audience performance.
- Produce quick-turn creative adaptations when speed and experimentation are priorities.
- Provide creative guidance, mentorship, and quality feedback to junior designers and editors while documenting best practices and workflows.
- Contribute to improving creative processes, templates, and systems to increase efficiency and maintain quality standards.
The ideal candidate is an experienced creative professional with strong expertise across video production, graphic design, and performance-driven content creation. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while delivering polished, high-impact creative assets.
- 4+ years of experience producing both video edits and graphic design assets within an agency, internal creative team, or high-volume content environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both video production and static design, including social content, thumbnails, advertising creative, and campaign assets.
- Advanced knowledge of typography, colour theory, layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling principles.
- Proven ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple creative formats and platforms.
- Experience creating performance-focused creative designed for testing, optimization, and scaling.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and the elements that capture attention within the first few seconds of content.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve for editing, sequencing, and colour grading.
- Proficiency with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animation, text treatments, overlays, and basic visual effects.
- Expertise using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma for static design creation and concept development.
- Familiarity with fast-production tools such as CapCut, Canva Pro, or similar platforms.
- Strong sound design and audio editing capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively, and communicate clearly within a remote-first team.
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior creative professionals is considered an asset.
