As a Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading product discovery, managing priorities, and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives. You will act as the connection point between business teams, fiscal areas, stakeholders, and agile squads, ensuring solutions meet organizational goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading discovery activities and defining requirements for strategic projects related to business transformation initiatives.
- Creating, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog according to business, technology, and operational needs.
- Writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting development teams throughout delivery.
- Defining test scenarios and supporting solution validation and user acceptance processes.
- Mapping stakeholders and coordinating validation processes with different business areas.
- Translating business needs into clear and actionable deliveries for agile teams.
- Aligning product strategy with sponsors, customers, and partner areas.
- Monitoring product, process, and quality indicators while providing regular progress reports.
- Defining and tracking KPIs and OKRs to measure product performance and outcomes.
- Identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring continuous, incremental product evolution.
- Communicating product vision and representing customer needs throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyzing market trends and competitive scenarios to support product decisions.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience as a Product Owner, strong knowledge of agile methodologies, and the ability to manage complex products involving multiple stakeholders. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, communication skills, and experience connecting business objectives with technology delivery. Required qualifications and skills include:
- Previous experience working as a Product Owner in digital or technology-driven environments.
- Experience with ERP Protheus (TOTVS).
- Experience with customer experience (CX) and product strategy.
- Knowledge of product discovery methodologies and practices.
- Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Strong experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
- Experience defining and monitoring KPIs and OKRs.
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, and organize complex demands.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels.
- Experience working in product lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Additional experience that is considered a plus:
- Experience working on projects related to tax reform initiatives.
- Postgraduate studies in Projects, Product Management, UX, CX, or related fields.
- Product Owner or Scrum Master certifications.
- Knowledge of Lean UX and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Experience with Azure Boards.
- Experience in the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of financial and tax-related business processes.
