Job Description

Campers Inn RV is looking for a SOP (Special Order Parts) Buyer. The SOP Buyer is responsible for managing the end-to-end process for special order parts for Lazydays, including researching, ordering, and tracking parts from vendors. Ensuring timely fulfillment of internal requests by maintaining accurate records, monitoring order status, and communicating updates or delays to relevant teams.

Essential Job Functions

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Process and manage manufacturer and vendor special order parts requests for internal departments.
  • Research and identify correct parts using manufacturer catalogs, vendor systems, and internal databases.
  • Place purchase orders with approved vendors and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate order updates, delays, and backorder information to internal teams as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of special orders within the inventory management system.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • License & Certifications:
    • NA
  • Experience:
    • At least one year of experience in the RV industry is preferred
  • Abilities:
    • Knowledgeable regarding recreational vehicles and travel trailers systems
    • Excellent analytical skills with the capabilities to be flexible and work with people
    • Detail oriented ability to guide customers through the process of a purchase or sale
    • Ability to work independently and strive to obtain goals
    • Ability to use a computer and other office supplies
    • Knowledge or ability to learn company systems software such as Motility Systems2k as well as other applicable software
    • Ability to travel locally
