Advanced Practice Provider in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania at Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association

Advanced practice provider (CRNP or PA-C) needed for an expanding Gastroenterology department in a large multispecialty group in Bryn Mawr, PA. This person will work under the supervision of physicians to provide high-quality patient care and will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating illnesses, evaluate patients for endoscopic procedures, and follow up patients for continuity of care.

Full-time, 40hrs/week , no call/night/weekend/holiday coverage. Mix of office and hospital-based practice. Competitive benefits along with a starting salary of $100,000-120,000/yr contingent on level of experience. The department currently consists of 9 physicians and 3 APPs.

Responsibilities:  

• Work closely in a team approach with doctors, APPs, and well trained ancillary staff in day-to-day practice to examine, take a history, diagnosis and treat patients.
• Uses modern electronic health record systems in both the office and hospital setting.
• Order and interpret test results and recommend treatment of patients as clinically appropriate.
• Prescribe medical procedures or medications as needed.
• Educate patients on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders or diseases.

The potential base pay range for this position is $100,000-$120,000/yr.
