Accounting Clerk in Missouri Valley, Iowa at EBS Recruiters LLC

Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of the accounting department by processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with accounts payable and month-end activities. This role works closely with accounting, inventory, and operations teams to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices and purchase orders accurately and timely
• Manage accounts payable communications and vendor inquiries
• Reconcile payments and assist with month-end close activities
• Support accounting, inventory, and operational teams with financial data and documentation
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed

• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Dependable, team-oriented, and proactive approach to work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
