Junior Project Manager – Manufacturing
Location: Marietta, OH

Power distribution industry experience is required.
Position OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to coordinate customer orders and manufacturing projects from initial entry through shipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple teams and keeping schedules, orders, and project details on track in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will work closely with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, logistics, and customer-facing teams to support accurate execution and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship orders from order entry through shipment and closeout.
- Review sales orders for accuracy, completeness, and configuration requirements.
- Monitor milestones including material availability, production, testing, and shipment.
- Maintain accurate order and project information in ERP and project management systems.
- Coordinate daily with production, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams.
- Provide customer order updates and communicate schedule changes proactively.
- Identify at-risk orders and escalate potential delivery issues early.
- Assist with logistics coordination, shipping documentation, and customer-specific requirements.
- Prepare internal and customer-facing project status reports.
- Support continuous improvement efforts involving order tracking and scheduling processes.
- Power distribution industry experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and project tracking tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
- Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order manufacturing processes.
- Exposure to power distribution products or industrial equipment.
- Experience coordinating manufactured-product shipments and logistics.
- CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification.
