Job Description

Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for developing engaging high quality marketing content that promotes the bank’s brand, products, services and community involvement across multiple platforms including social media, website, email marketing, digital advertising, video displays as well as other communication channels. This role will be responsible for the collection and analysis of data for the development of actionable marketing campaigns for customer retention, market share growth and shareholder value. This position will comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and USA PATRIOT Act including the Customer Identification Program (CIP), customer due diligence, identifying high-risk accounts, and reporting suspicious activities to the BSA Department.

Responsibilities, Duties & Accountabilities:

• Represents leadership in a professional and positive manner; provides excellent marketing, communication and results-oriented benchmark and trending

• Responsible to work with the bank’s Director of Marketing to develop short-term and long-term marketing and advertising strategies that will promote all services and products for the bank;

• Responsible to work with the Director of Marketing on selection of vendors, placement of advertising, etc.

• Responsible to assist the Director of Marketing with development of an annual advertising budget. This will include determining the expected use of media, by type of media;

• Generates unique ideas and designs for content and campaigns, existing and new products;

• Creates 80% of all social media postings on a weekly basis;

• Schedules all social media postings, after review and approval by Director of Marketing

• Creates and maintains website content and data for marketing and compliance purposes;

• Creates and maintains literature, brochures and other marketing materials and ensures the availability to the general public; Assists the VP, Director of Retail Banking and Marketing with the bank’s Annual Report.

• Reviews and oversees advertising copy, descriptive materials. Keeps current with advertising compliance and assures that all copy and materials fall within acceptable compliance guidelines:

• Collaborates with the VP, Director of Retail Banking and Marketing to develop branding messages; and proactively provides drafts and ideas for review;

• Identifies potential customers/markets and works with the VP, Director of Retail Banking and Marketing to develop these opportunities for the bank;

• Collects and compiles customer feedback, trending data and results information in an easily reviewed and understood format; Forecasts and analyzes reports for leadership, presenting summarized information for review;

• Develops and distributes materials related to sales and marketing;

• Creates leadership approved customer emails and US Mail communications and schedules delivery, once compliance approved;

• Manages the current onboarding programs and assists with development of new onboarding programs

• Creates and schedules all approved On-Hold and Holiday (Auto-Attendant) messages;

• Collects and maintains records required to track, review and modify performance initiatives; Produces results tracking for product campaigns, call campaigns, employee referrals, etc. in a timely and accurate manner;

• Creates employee communications and trainings via PowerPoint, produces educational materials, agenda development, assisting with presentations and additional training items as identified;

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with emphasis in digital media;

• Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ relevant work experience in Digital Media Marketing;

• Demonstrated proficient computer skills, preferably working with Microsoft Office products, office systems and programs, with an emphasis on PowerPoint, CANVA and/or other graphic design software; and the ability to successfully navigate and maintain current knowledge and skills working with technology

• Demonstrated above-average verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines; and the ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks

• Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn: In an ever-changing and evolving world of banking and investments in our community, this position requires an eagerness to adapt to those changes and the initiative to learn outside of daily parameters

• Demonstrated attention to detail, with the ability to detect errors and make necessary adjustments accordingly

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in working with private, sensitive and other highly confidential information

• Demonstrated experience to tactfully and professionally address concerns and complaints

• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional working relationships with staff members, peers, leadership, customers and the general public

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team-setting, maintaining professional and effective work relationships with management and team mates

• Ability to maintain regular and routine attendance and punctuality
