We're hiring a Floating Assistant Teacher for our Plymouth location. This full-time role requires flexibility to work within our center's operating hours of 7:00 am–5:30 pm. If you're an entry-level educator, a caregiver with prior childcare experience, or someone looking to grow into a certified teaching role and comfortable supporting infants through preschool age, we'd love to meet you.
This vital role supports multiple classrooms, offering flexibility and variety while ensuring consistency in high-quality child care. Whether you're soothing a toddler, inspiring preschoolers, or supporting fellow daycare teachers, you'll be an essential part of our nurturing and collaborative community.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:- A passion for a career working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children
- Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
- An engaging and energetic demeanor and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals
- EEC Teacher Certification or CDA Certificate is a plus!
- Availability to work a full time, flexible schedule within operating hours of the school
- Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
- Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset
- Providing substitute coverage across classrooms when teachers are out sick, on planning time, or need a break throughout the day
- Assisting classroom teachers with daily activities, lesson materials, free play, and outdoor supervision
- Helping with daily routines, including diapering, snack and mealtime assistance, and naptime
- Helping maintain cleanliness throughout the school, including classrooms, common areas, and shared spaces
- Encouraging children's participation through age-appropriate interactive activities
- Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry (if applicable)
- Building positive relationships with students, families, and fellow teachers
