Job Description

Description:

Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction to promote the client's overall well-being.
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Provide light housekeeping and laundry assistance to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
Provide meals and assist with meal-related needs according to the client's care plan.
Provide medication reminders as directed.
Assist with transportation, errands, and appointments as assigned.
Support clients with safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
Observe and promptly report any changes in the client's condition, behavior, or needs.
Follow the client's individualized care plan and all Amada Senior Care policies and procedures.
Maintain the client's dignity, privacy, safety, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of caregiving experience required.
Must have a genuine passion for helping seniors and individuals who needs assistance.
Must be dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional.
Must successfully complete required background checks and meet applicable Texas hiring requirements.
Valid driver's license required.
Reliable transportation required.
Current automobile insurance required.
Must be available to work assigned shifts, including day and/or night shifts as needed.
Must demonstrate professional communication and appropriate workplace conduct.
