Job Description
You’re an experienced Engineering Manager who loves building software! In this role you’ll lead a team of talented engineers working on our Network as a Service platform. You’ll be responsible for guiding both the development of new features and products, as well as maintaining and improving existing systems. You’re detail-oriented, care deeply about product and excel at coaching developers to think like product owners, ensuring their work aligns with user and business needs.
What Youll Be DoingLead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and accountability.
Drive the technical vision in alignment with product goals, collaborating closely with other engineering and product teams.
Support the career growth of engineers by providing regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement to identify, develop, and implement process changes to increase efficiency.
Helping the team proactively pay down tech debt by allocating time and resources to refactor and optimise existing systems to ensure long-term stability and scalability.
Evaluate new technology and provide input on best practices in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities.
Grow, develop and retain an incredible team of engineers and foster a culture of excellence and supportive collaboration.
Coordinate tasks and set team goals with a focus on achieving strategic business objectives.
Previous experience as a hands-on software engineer with solid technical expertise.
Proven track record in managing and scaling teams of software engineers, preferably in a product-driven environment.
Effective time management skills and ability to distribute workload effectively.
Demonstrated capability to lead, support, and mentor team members.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience leading and developing a technical team with the ability to work in a transparent and collaborative manner.
