Job Description

Terminal Supervisor

Coach Canada is currently accepting internal applications for the position of Terminal Supervisor at our Union Station location.

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the terminal, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery, providing frontline leadership to drivers and terminal employees, and assisting with customer service, dispatch coordination, and operational problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to terminal employees.
  • Monitor workflow, staffing levels, attendance, and schedule adherence to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Hold employees accountable for performance, conduct, attendance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Address routine operational, customer service, and employee issues independently, escalating more complex matters to management as required.
  • Support employee training, coaching, and development.
  • Ensure established procedures, safety requirements, and service standards are consistently followed.
  • Complete required reports, documentation, and administrative tasks.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and customer-focused work environment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Previous transportation, dispatch, terminal, or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as operationally required.
