The Research Associate provides support to the design and conduct of research studies, program evaluation, and administrative patient information systems. Support responsibilities may range from literature review and study design, data abstraction and collection, interviewing, coding and data entry, data analysis and written data reports, depending on specific project and skill and experience level of the Research Associate. Qualifications: College degree (BA, BS). Competent in computer use for word processing, database management. Capable of safely performing functions indigenous to the position, including sitting for long periods of time. Valid California driver’s license. Preferred graduate school experience in social or health science field. Statistical data analysis experience or classwork preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team and take on new -- and multiple - assignments.
