Unarmed Security Officer

Position Type: Part-Time

Pay Type: Hourly Shift: Saturday and Sunday Evenings| 4:00pm - 12:00am

Location: Oklahoma City

We are seeking a professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to provide evening coverage in a hospital environment. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, physicians, nurses, and staff members.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, observant, and skilled in communication and de-escalation. Hospital security requires strong customer service skills combined with the ability to respond confidently during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor hospital entrances, exits, and designated access points
• Conduct routine patrols of patient care areas, parking lots, and common spaces
• Respond to emergency calls, disturbances, and security alerts
• Assist staff with combative, intoxicated, or emotionally distressed individuals
• De-escalate tense situations using professional communication techniques
• Enforce hospital policies and visitor guidelines
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
