Description:

We are seeking a full-time Logistics Supervisor to lead delivery/distribution operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for supporting the overall execution and performance of the operation for a specific location, including staffing, customer relations, performance, and direction of the overall operation.

This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual in a fast-paced, high-growth delivery network.

  • Supervise and lead logistics team members, including shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel, by assigning work, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to procedures.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper system transactions.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and customer service teams to align material availability with production schedules and customer demand.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage methods, and material flow to improve efficiency and reduce handling time.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to transportation and material handling.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, inventory variances, and logistics-related issues.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and freight costs; implement improvements as needed.
  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation solutions.
  • Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems.
  • Train and develop team members on procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
  • Support and enforce the organization’s Quality Assurance System and Health & Safety policies.
  • Travel may be required periodically for training or operational support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
  • At least 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experienced in Lean implementation, team building, quality control and assurance.
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge and experience with: Manufacturing software/ERP, MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and RF scanning technology.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to:

  • Sitting & standing for extended periods of time at a computer workstation or at equipment controls cabinet.
  • Occasionally lift and carry small loads, less than 25lbs, to organize in-house meetings and events.
  • Regularly stand, bend, twist for the purpose of obtaining, reviewing paper documents, equipment wiring and cabinet design when in a field environment.
  • Walking facility grounds and construction sites where the surfaces may be uneven

While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly exposed to:

  • A regulated indoor climate office.
  • Manufacturing floor environment may not be controlled.
  • Construction Environment with Dust and Noise when working in the field.
  • Travel on Airplanes primarily
