Job Title: Production Operator
Hours: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Review batch tickets – Read, understand, and follow.

Provide samples to lab.

Pack product into designated containers; labeling containers.

Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities.

Equipment cleaning, plant cleaning, waste disposal.

Forklift operation.

SAP inventory look-up and SAP duties.

Tub washer.

Gather and weigh ingredients. (Scale operation)

Participate on plant teams.

Stock rotation / Minimization of partial containers.

Ingredient traceability.

Operate and trouble shoot mixing equipment.

Combine ingredients in designated sequence.

Training others.

SAP CORK duties and SAP Cycle count duties.

Preliminary quality checks.

Operation of equipment with an inerting system.

Wear appropriate PPE at all times & maintain a clean work area and work safely.

Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training sessions.

Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties & stay updated on all applicable procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma/GED or the ability to pass a pre-employment screening assessment required

Must be computer efficient.

Must possess basic math skills.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience with and knowledge of safety.

Candidates must possess sound verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work 40 hrs. and overtime.
