Pay $19/hr
This position is part time, starting at 20 hours a week and is a combined telehealth and in person role.

Applicants need to live within commuting distance of our office in Bangor and have a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license. Mileage reimbursement is paid. We highly prefer someone that has a CCAR certification.
We offer a supportive, respectful treatment program for people using opioids that are ready to look at their use and make some changes. We offer a wrap around program combining medication assisted treatment with support and counseling from our team: doctor, substance use counselor, peer recovery coach and navigator.
We embrace a harm reduction philosophy and meet people where they are in their process. Our peer recovery coach is an integral part of our team and will meet with clients in the community and the office, our team and be present during some counseling sessions.
The recovery coach will also run our clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week and one Monday a month. They are expected to do outreach, share our program and resources to increase awareness and support new clients and attend recovery events. They will need to follow CCAR (addiction recovery training) guidelines when seeing clients. Applicants should have solid Microsoft Office, Zoom and EMR skills.
Requirements:- be CCAR certified preferred or obtain within 6 months from hire
- must identify as a person in solid recovery from opioid use
- models strong, healthy recovery
- have solid administrative skills such as Microsoft office, Zoom and EMR
- be knowledgeable and stay current about resources
- be willing to meet with people in person as well as telehealth
- have strong boundaries and ethics
- must have a reliable car and valid driver’s license
