About the Role:
The Shift Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a fast food establishment during their assigned shift. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing team members, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. The Shift Leader ensures that all safety procedures and company policies are strictly followed to provide a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and customers. They also monitor inventory levels and sales performance to support operational goals and contribute to the overall success of the business. Ultimately, the Shift Leader acts as a key point of contact between staff and management, driving team productivity and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food service industry.
- Certification in food safety or related training.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and order management software.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Experience in managing janitorial and sanitation protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Help coordinate the activities of team members during the shift to ensure efficient service and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and safety procedures to guarantee a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Manage order selection processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer orders.
- Monitor inventory and assist in stock management to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
- Perform janitorial duties as needed to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards within the establishment.
- Engage with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Track and report on the company’s sales performance during the shift and implement strategies to meet sales targets.
