Automotive Refinish Technician / Painter
ACTS Fleet Maintenance
Pay: $25–$37/hour (based on experience, certifications, and production)
Schedule: Full-time
ACTS Fleet is hiring an Experienced Automotive Refinish Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals with prior refinish experience who take pride in high-quality work and are looking for long-term stability with a company that invests in its people.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform all refinish work according to OEM and company specifications
• Accurately match paint colors using specified color charts
• Mix, stir, and thin paints to match vehicle color specifications
• Follow OEM standards for blending formulas, topcoat application, and curing
• Monitor paint operations to identify and correct defects such as blisters or streaks
• Verify paint consistency prior to application
• Communicate vehicle status throughout the paint process
• Apply designs, lettering, logos, or decorative elements using paint brushes or sprayers
• Lay out logos, symbols, or designs using blueprints, stencils, patterns, and measuring tools
Skill Requirements
• Certifications in paint and refinish procedures
• I-CAR certifications (preferred)
• Prior automotive refinish experience required
• Ability to receive and give direction in a team environment
• Reliable work history
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check
