Job Description

Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order. The primary goal is to follow the appropriate safety procedure and be a role model for the company and those around you.
Roles & Responsibilities
Inspect loads to ensure cargo is secure
Rebuild legs and doors of trailers
Replace crossmembers and repair bogies
Be fluent in ABS system and electrical
Perform PMs and DOT inspections
Skills & Qualifications
Prior brake and wheel end experience
Ability to weld metal and aluminum
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to work independently
Ability to use and work a computer
Ability to be responsible and dependable
Ability to tolerate stress calmly and efficiently
Education & Experience
High school diploma (GED) or equivalent required
Experience in spreadsheet software (Google Sheets) and electronic mail software (Gmail)
