Role Overview
VersAbility Resources is seeking a motivated and creative intern to support the Marketing and Development team through activities such as grant research, assisting with proposal development, supporting donor engagement efforts, and contributing to a variety of development-related projects. The intern will gain experience in nonprofit fundraising, grants management, and cross-functional collaboration while helping advance the organization’s funding and engagement initiatives
We are seeking candidates who reside in Virginia and can work onsite at our corporate location in Hampton, Virginia.

What You’ll Do
• Assist with developing fundable program concepts by helping outline basic goals, activities, and potential outcomes
• Support data entry, document preparation, and content development
• Assist with administrative tasks related to grant writing, fundraising and communications
• Provide general marketing and development support across various projects and initiatives
• Assist with administrative and coordination tasks related to marketing efforts
• Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Currently a Junior or Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required
• Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for working in a mission-driven nonprofit environment
• Valid driver’s license required

Work Environment
This role is primarily sedentary and may include working in an office setting, with occasional walking, standing, or attending events.
