The English Tea Room located in downtown Covington, LA

is now seeking additional servers for our upcoming busy season!

The English Tea Room is a vibrant eatery offering

a full menu of wide ranging food styles including classic

British dishes and countless fresh made teas from around the world.

Our environment is upscale yet casual and inviting

with an accent on friendly, attentive service and fun!

Our hours of operation are 10AM - 5PM, Monday through Saturday,

which many on our team find appealing!

- REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES -

Experience in the service industry is preferred

(though we are happy to train newcomers with a positive attitude)

Strong communication skills

Patience and focus in a fast paced environment

Professionalism in handling credit card transactions

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take their orders
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
• Serve food and beverages to customers
• Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with customers and addressing any concerns
• Process payments and handle cash credit card transactions
• Clean and set up tables and dining areas
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, & climb

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
