Job Summary
Are you a Sterile Certified Pharmacy Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? We seek a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about patient care. In this role, you'll work closely with pharmacists on repackaging, compounding, and filling sterile medications, directly impacting patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Compound prescriptions with precision and care
- Ensure timely and accurate medication distribution
- Organize and manage medication orders and records
- Monitor and replenish medication supplies
What We Require
- RPHT-TX certification from the State Board of Pharmacy
- CPHT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (preferred)
- Recent experience in sterile pharmacy technician roles
- IV certification
- Completion of 40 hours of accredited training in compounding sterile products (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while preparing and fulfilling prescriptions
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting
- Ability to maintain focus in a typical pharmacy/office environment with moderate noise levels
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing, labeling, and packaging
