Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam. This role also involves machine setup, operation, and supporting production through precision programming and efficient tooling solutions.
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and modify CNC programs using Mastercam for mills and routers
  • Setup and operate CNC machines, adjusting settings as needed
  • Convert CAD/CAM toolpaths into machine-ready code using post processors
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Design and machine custom fixtures and tooling
  • Edit and fine-tune G-code for improved performance
  • Reverse engineer parts to create accurate CNC programs
  • Assist with machine maintenance and basic repairs
  • Create production-ready PDFs and setup documentation
  • Train team members on equipment and procedures
  • Maintain quality control records and setup sheets
  • Continuously improve run times, material usage, and scrap reduction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with CNC CAD/CAM programming (Mastercam preferred)
  • Strong understanding of machine operations, tooling, and setups
  • Familiarity with G-code editing and precision measuring tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specs
  • Solid math skills, including geometry and basic algebra
