Key Responsibilities:

CAD Drafting & Documentation

Create and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for smoker assemblies, parts, and accessories
Develop detailed manufacturing drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and notes
Maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and drawing revision history

Engineering & Manufacturing Support

Work closely with design engineers to translate concepts into production-ready drawings
Support manufacturing by providing accurate prints, cut lists, and assembly documentation
Assist with tooling, fixture, and assembly layout drawings

Change Management

Implement engineering change orders (ECOs) by updating drawings and related documentation
Ensure proper revision control and document release processes are followed
Archive obsolete drawings per company procedures

Quality & Compliance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams to clarify drawing requirements
Communicate drawing changes and updates clearly to stakeholders

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Associate degree or technical certification in CAD drafting, engineering technology, or a related field
2+ years of CAD drafting experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with sheet metal, weldments, and assemblies preferred
