This role is focused on driving regional growth within the foodservice distribution ecosystem, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities across a defined territory. You will work at the intersection of sales, category management, and customer engagement, building strong relationships with distributors, chains, and end-users. The position requires a commercially driven mindset, strong field execution, and the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels. You will be responsible for expanding product adoption, defending existing business, and identifying incremental revenue opportunities. Working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and revenue management. Your impact will directly contribute to strengthening brand presence and accelerating regional sales performance.
You will be responsible for managing and growing a regional portfolio, with a strong focus on foodservice distributors, chains, and end-user accounts. The role combines account management, business development, and field execution to deliver measurable revenue growth.
- Manage and grow direct accounts across foodservice distributors and end-user customers within the assigned region
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including buyers, category managers, and operators
- Drive new business acquisition while expanding existing accounts through incremental sales opportunities
- Conduct business reviews, maintain pricing agreements, and ensure consistent follow-up on opportunities
- Support product education, sampling, demonstrations, and training sessions to increase adoption
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams including marketing, supply chain, and category management
- Track, document, and report all customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools
- Participate in trade shows, regional events, and promotional initiatives to strengthen brand visibility
You bring strong sales expertise within the foodservice or hospitality industry, with a proven ability to manage accounts and deliver results in a quota-driven environment.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within foodservice or hospitality sectors
- Strong background in managing distributor and end-user relationships in a B2B environment
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth, manage quotas, and execute regional sales plans
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and managing structured pipelines
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with customer-facing experience
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously
- Ability to travel up to 50% across the assigned region
- Nice to have: degree in Business, Culinary Arts, or related field and exposure to industrial/manufacturing segments
- Base salary range: CAD $70,000 – $95,000
- Bonus eligibility based on performance
