In this role, you will lead strategic growth efforts across the higher education sector, with a strong focus on the Québec market and broader Atlantic Canada region. You will operate as a senior commercial leader, building trusted relationships with key institutional stakeholders and driving complex enterprise sales cycles. This position blends strategic market development, consultative selling, and ecosystem partnership building within a highly regulated and relationship-driven environment. You will act as a key market voice, shaping how solutions are positioned and adopted across universities and colleges. The role requires strong cultural and regional understanding, particularly within Québec’s education landscape. It is an opportunity to directly influence revenue growth while strengthening long-term institutional partnerships.
- Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy focused on Québec and Atlantic Canada higher education markets
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with institutional leaders including executives, finance, IT, and student services stakeholders
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through to contract closure
- Position solutions as strategic institutional partners aligned with operational, academic, and student experience priorities
- Leverage partnerships, industry associations, and ecosystem networks to expand market access and credibility
- Represent the organization at conferences, forums, and sector events as a senior market presence
- Collaborate with internal teams including product, compliance, marketing, and implementation to support deal execution and customer success
- Provide market intelligence on trends, competition, and regulatory developments to inform strategy
- Manage pipeline development, forecasting, and revenue growth across assigned territory
- Ensure seamless transition from sales to post-sale implementation teams
- 10–15 years of experience in higher education, SaaS, fintech, payments, banking, or enterprise technology sales in Canada
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals in institutional environments
- Strong understanding of Canadian higher education systems, particularly Québec’s regulatory and procurement landscape
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (professional level required)
- Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and executive communication skills
- Strong relationship-building abilities with senior decision-makers and institutional stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate politically and structurally complex environments
- Highly organized and effective in managing long and complex sales cycles
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Québec and Atlantic Canada
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000–$140,000 CAD plus commission
