C&K employees are self-starters, detail-orientated and adaptable. We are currently hiring for the position of 2 Machinists. This position will be based out of Easton, PA.

POSITION SUMMARY

C&K Plastics is seeking an experienced CNC/Machinist. The ideal candidate will have programming experience, the ability to read part prints, use calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring devices. A basic understanding of Machining theory is required. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision. A solid work ethic is required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Confidence in the basics of working on conventional equipment: manual Lathe, Bridgeport milling machine, drill press and surface grinder.
  • Experience setting up a CNC milling machine and preparing the tools needed to make a part, (programming skills are optional).
  • The ability to set up and run a wire EDM.
  • Must be capable of using measuring instruments, for example: dial and digital calipers, micrometers, pin and block gauges.
  • Must know how to use hand tools (cordless drill and air grinder).
  • Excellent self-management and time-management skills are needed.
  • Must know how to read technical drawings and prints.
  • The ability to prioritize your work schedule.
  • The willingness to learn new work-related procedures and skills.
  • Overtime required when needed.
  • WORK CONDITIONS

    The employee will work both on the manufacturing floor and in the maintenance shop and office. Normal plant environment which may include exposure to dust, and both hot and cold conditions. Must be capable of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with government and company safety standards. Must be able to walk, stand, and lift objects, up to 50lbs.

    Shift: Dayshift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00
