As a Lathe Operator, you will play a crucial role in our Machine Shop department, performing CNC and manual turning operations on materials provided by our valued customers. From setting up for long and short runs of parts to troubleshooting issues and maintaining equipment, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with machining requirements.
This is a 2nd shift role working at the facility in Hatfield, PA. The hours are Monday to Friday from 2:30pm – 11pm.
A Day in the Life of a Lathe Operator:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
- Candidate must have mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Understanding of how to operate shop tools and equipment desired.
- Computer skills required: Enterprise Resource Planning System and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry and/or move varying weight, and up to 50 pounds.
- Must meet citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies.
This position requires use of information or access to processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export laws including but not limited to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
