Welder/Fitter - 1st & 2nd Shift at QuikCut LLC – Fort Wayne, Indiana

QuikCut, LLC is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter for our Fort Wayne location. The position is a skilled, hands-on role responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling metal components in accordance with detailed blueprints and project specifications. This position requires precision craftsmanship, strong blueprint reading skill, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner. The Welder/Fitter works collaboratively with team members to meet production goals, maintain equipment, and ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety requirements.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform welding operations using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
• Fit and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed.

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter in a similar role.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50# unassisted
