Water Utility Operator – Payson, Tonto Basin & Show Low Areas

Position Summary

JW Water is seeking a dependable and motivated individual (preferably with some water operations experience), to assist with the maintenance, upkeep and repairs of water distribution systems. Water Operations or Plumbing experience needed.

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. All candidates must have a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with maintenance and repairs of water distribution systemsPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenanceSupport and assist crews with repairs, and emergency response activitiesMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activitiesFollow company safety policies and proceduresAssist in maintaining vehicles, equipment, and work areasShare on call, and or respond to after-hours emergencies as needed

Qualifications

Water operations experience, utility maintenance, or plumbing experienceBasic knowledge of water distribution systems is a plusAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to lift heavy materials and perform physical laborReliable attendance and strong work ethic requiredMust be dependable and able to work well with othersValid driver’s license with a clean driving record required

Working Conditions

Outdoor environment (Exposure to all weather conditions)A lot of driving (from: Tonto Basin to Show Low AZ)May require occasional overtime, on-call work, or emergency response
