This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Corporate Meetings & Events Manager based in United States.

This is a high-impact opportunity to establish and scale a corporate meetings and events function from the ground up.
You’ll own a portfolio of complex internal programs, managing everything from venue sourcing and contracting through onsite execution.
The role offers direct visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to shape how internal events are planned and delivered.
You’ll work within an experienced Field Marketing organization while maintaining ownership of your own high-priority event portfolio.
Strong financial management, vendor negotiation, and operational discipline will be essential to delivering exceptional programs efficiently.
You’ll balance multiple timelines, stakeholders, budgets, and logistical considerations while maintaining a high standard of execution.
This role is ideal for an experienced events professional who thrives on ownership, complexity, and creating scalable processes.

Accountabilities
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of corporate meetings and internal events, from initial sourcing and planning through onsite delivery and post-event closeout.
  • Establish scalable processes and standards for planning, sourcing, contracting, and executing internal meetings and events.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-impact programs simultaneously, balancing competing timelines, stakeholders, priorities, and budgets.
  • Source and negotiate with hotels, venues, and event suppliers, including room blocks, attrition, cancellation terms, food and beverage minimums, audiovisual services, concessions, and service charges.
  • Build and maintain preferred supplier relationships and explore master service agreements that improve efficiency, consistency, and commercial outcomes.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, forecasts, invoices, and reconciliations while maintaining strong financial controls.
  • Coordinate event logistics and onsite execution, ensuring programs run smoothly and issues are addressed quickly and professionally.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and make informed recommendations around scope, cost, timing, and risk.
  • Identify potential operational challenges early and develop practical contingency plans to protect event quality and business needs.
  • Collaborate with the broader Field Marketing team and leverage existing event infrastructure and expertise to strengthen internal programs.
  • Support the broader events portfolio during lower-volume periods as needed, contributing event expertise and operational support.
  • Travel regularly to support onsite meetings and events and ensure a consistently high-quality experience.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate meetings, internal events, conference planning, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end experience managing complex meetings and events, from venue sourcing and contracting through onsite execution.
  • Deep expertise negotiating hotel and venue contracts, including room blocks, attrition, cancellation clauses, F&B minimums, AV requirements, concessions, and service charges.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting costs, reviewing invoices, and completing reconciliations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with competing deadlines, stakeholders, budgets, and logistical requirements.
  • Experience developing preferred supplier networks and/or negotiating master service agreements.
  • Exceptional project management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills, including the confidence to challenge assumptions and push back when scope, cost, or risk requires it.
  • Calm, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach when managing unexpected issues or high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time and provide onsite event support.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary: $110,000–$130,000.
  • Premium medical, dental, and vision coverage, with options for employees and their families and 100% employer-paid premiums available on some plans.
  • Flexible paid time off to support work-life balance.
  • Equity options that provide an opportunity to participate in organizational growth.
  • 401(k) benefits to support long-term financial planning.
  • Wellness and mental health benefits for employees and their families.
  • Remote work environment with a home office setup and monthly stipend toward internet and phone expenses.
  • Professional growth opportunities with the chance to build and shape a new corporate meetings and events function.
  • High-visibility role with exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to make a meaningful operational impact.
